Q: In what formats can BMS receive files?

A: We currently receive data files from distributors in a variety of formats including .rtf, .csv, .txt, .xls, and hardcopy.

Q: In what formats can BMS generate reports?

A: There are many different ways to receive your monthly reports from BMS. The most frequent form of receiving reports is via email in a Microsoft Excel or .rtf format, however, we can certainly accommodate any special requests.

Q: Can BMS send the finalized reports directly to your sales reps?

A: Upon request, BMS can send final reports to multiple locations including individual sales rep offices, multiple branch locations of your sales force, etc.

Q: Can BMS accommodate international data collection and reporting?

A: Budde Marketing Systems, Inc. currently collects POS from over 100 international distributors and our list continues to grow.  Setting up a program for us to collect your foreign distributor data is very similar to the process of setting up a domestic distributor.  For this process please see View Our Process.

Q: How long does the start up phase last and when can you expect to see your first reports?

A: The start up phase will usually last between 4-6 weeks. This process includes notification of our partnership with your distributors, validation of data from distributors, data cleansing, data conditioning, POS database creation according to reporting requests, manufacturer feedback regarding report customization, and final running of completed database operations including utilization of specialized query development within your POS database.
